I got some restaurant size coffee flitters and I thinking I will make mug rugs will them they are 12in. I will also make some with house hold size flitters to. I think about not taking the fiitter out of them, it would help to hold the shape, and hold any water, I'm gone to use wal-mart bags to make them so the water will not get to the desks. what do you think about all this? I gone to make them scrap. I'm gaveing baby shower next week-end and will gave some as gifts there. and I'm gone to make some for christmas gift. My next ? is can somebody come up with saying that I can put with them so people will know what they are. Help. thanks for any help.

I wonder about when they are laundered, the paper could come loose at the seams and bunch up... Just a thought  :D:D:D

Would be easy enough to sew up a sample and wash it.

I've been thinking of using an old, flannel backed vinyl table cloth to make some new coasters with. Have the batting on top of the vinyl part in case they put something really hot on top. I imagine they would be great for mug rugs too. Keep the table from getting wet.

I like the poem sewTinker came up with!

When I gave my MRs away, I printed out the poem business card size, punched a hole in corner of "card" looped a ribbon thru it, rolled up the MR cigar style and tied the ribbon around. Looked sooo cute! Gals just loved loved them!
