I have a Muvit foot on my Brother Dreanweaver. Occasionally the quilt will bunch up under the big white part of the foot, but it's usually because there's a pile of quilt behind the machine so there's nowhere for it to go. My machine has the presser foot height feature but I've never changed the height with Muvit.

I have that machine and occasionally the fabric will get "stuck" right at the beginning when using that foot. If that is the problem, just lift the foot and smooth out the fabric behind and it should continue on through without a problem. That has been my only issue using it.

I own the Crescendo and use the Muvit foot without problems. I know the manual has a section on adjusting the presser foot pressure...I, however, never had to do that. I hope you find a solution to your problem.

Hm, I wonder if there was obstruction BEHIND the machine. There are so many ways this could have gone pear-shaped.

So I played a bit with my Muvit foot on a sample piece and found out that I had my foot attached correctly. The key piece missing was the tension setting. I brought it all the way to zero and then I kept folding my sandwich to run it through the machine. It went through without any issues. The foot adjusted with every increase.

Thank you all so much for your help.
