a terrific machine and good-looking, too. what a wonderful surprise! not every daughter would know exactly what gusgus liked. oh, and you too.
i actually think those vintage ones from the 50's have a lot more personality than the older singers. just me.

She said the cabinet was in great shape and the machine looked OK. I asked it it sewed and she had them plug it in and let me know the light goes on and the needle moves up and down. (This child knows nothing about sewing.  ). I said OK buy it. I figured the cabinet was worth that anyway. She came home with a beautiful blond cabinet ( not a thing wrong with it ) and a wonderful light green 15-125. The machine needed cleaning but it sews like a dream. Then came the best part.......it was half price day at the estate sale so this baby came to my house for $17.00. Can you believe it. I'm so excited. I'm cleaning her up and trying to decide a name for her. What a great day. Oh.....the seat that came with her is filled with sewing supplies. Including a four pack of bobbins with a price tag of 39 cents.   She was born in 1956 and is a wonderful addition to my home. I'm having a great time with her.
