Happy Belated Birthday to you & we both seem to have managed to marry keepers! My husband is taking me to the Houston International quilt show at the end of this month and has given me $500 to spend but also noted that I have my credit cards to use at will! I have several bags ready to take for him to carry my haul in. This will be my 1st ever quilt show. I'm also looking forward to spending 3 days alone with DH. We'll drive up Friday, rest up at hotel then hit the show Sat then relax at hotel Sat night & head home Sunday. So no rushing to get there & home again. I'm hoping to fill my bags with great sales of all kinds.
PS, DH even had me go get a new pair of tennis shoes to have broke in, in time for the show with all the walking, I've had 6 surgeries on my back and bad feet too. Found my tennis shoes and I am SW ready to go I can't contain my excitement.....can you tell LOL. The good husband is a great find!

If Houston will be your first quilt show, you are in for a treat. Just don't think one day will be enough especially going on Saturday - if you can swing it I would go Friday also.

Good for you. Where it has that many stitches I would make a stitch diary so you can reference it quickly when you sew. Enjoy.
