    Thanks everyone for all the lovely comments, but I need a push to the finish line

    The fabric is by bunny hill designs, lilly and will I think it's called

    The pattern is called baby talk and is from an old magazine

    It's a beautiful quilt and I love the fabrics you used. I think I would call it "hugs all around". The circle it makes reminded me of hugs as in X's and O's.
    As for the quilting just do what you're comfortable doing. You can secure it first with some in-the-ditch, them maybe do a soft curve down the middle of the curves in the pattern. Good luck.
