Hey New Jersey Friend,
Wow! What a story. I guess I'm dense, but did
you replace the original brown (what you thought
was olive) with the real olive you found at JoAnn's?
I kept looking for the brown but didn't see it, so
I finally decided that you replaced it with the other
one you found. Anyway, it sure did turn out well.
I'm proud of you for persevering. I don't know it
I could have.
Have a Great Day!

that lighter color next to the dark olive is brown. see? it fooled you, too. i wouldn't dream of changing it all.
i just came up from doing a few more blocks on it and i swear it's possessed! when i went to snip the thread close, i poked the point of the scissor right into the fabric. now there's a little hole that i have to deal with somehow. i think i'll use a permanent marker to dab onto hole in case the batting wants to sneak out. then i'll dab on a tiny bit of glue that won't wash out. then i won't tell anyone.
take care, barbara
