hi marcia (i know where you are),

that lighter color next to the dark olive is brown. see? it fooled you, too. i wouldn't dream of changing it all.

i just came up from doing a few more blocks on it and i swear it's possessed! when i went to snip the thread close, i poked the point of the scissor right into the fabric. now there's a little hole that i have to deal with somehow. i think i'll use a permanent marker to dab onto hole in case the batting wants to sneak out. then i'll dab on a tiny bit of glue that won't wash out. then i won't tell anyone.

    take care, barbara[/quote]

    Hey Barbara,
Just making sure you didn't forget me :)))!! Anyway,
that 'brown' sure looks olive to me. I still like it, though.
Red is my color, so if you put red in anything, I would
be happy with it. Oh, this is off topic, but isn't there another
big quilt show coming up your way in August. Seems like
    I saw that somewhere.
    Marcia

One day you will "love" this quilt....I'm thinking 2018
You always have a soft spot in your heart for the quilt that gave you the most grief! It's a nice quilt!

It looks great Barbara. I understand about the red though. I hoard some red paisley -- my beloved red paisley -- and have yet to use it for something for me.
