I got accessories to go with Featherweight for Christmas. A zigzagger and a buttonholer. Vintage screwdriver set and a brush. Oh, and a thread cutter. I'm over the moon. What did you get for your FW?

You can never have too many in my opinion. I have three, but shhhhhhh. Nobody knows that's how many I have. Most people think I only have two, and "some" people think I only have one. Please keep my secret.

How is your thread cutter positioned on your FW? I think mine is on incorrectly.

Yeah, one is my dogs, lol! I don't know yet. I haven't put it on. One of my machines already has one on it. I will have to take a look and see. I think it just fits over the needle shaft.

All these FWs are old! Maybe yours is dull from extended use. I will check it out and let you know what I find out. Otherwise you could ask Lostn51: Billy. He knows everything about vintage machines. And what he doesn't know, he can find out.

I have removed the thread cutter from 2 of mine because it gets in the way of the walking foot.
