Default My DJ disaster - yeah, but....WARNING!!

Having already hand quilted and layered each separate triangle...when I sew them together I get a lovely lumpy seam!!!! Guess I was supposed to sew the tri's together first, layer the strip, quilt them then join the strip!! So now I'll try to trim back the batting between the layers by 1/4". BUT I'll just try one scrap one first!

LET THIS BE A LESSON TO ALL YOU DJ'ERS! Making the blocks is the easy part!

Oh dear ... that's the second calamity for you today.
Perhaps better stop for the day ... before something else happens?

I'm confused.Did you quilt each tri and then try to join them?I have never heard of that.Do you do that with other projects?Jane is hard enough, why add to the difficulty?
