No mater what I'm making - I make a copy of the pattern on my copy machine and put the original in the file - or stack of books, etc. BEFORE I start to cut the first piece - that way I can make notes all over my copy as I'm sewing and it helps with LOTS of organization - for me at least. The original is always safe and sound..............works for me at least.

Hahaha dont I wish!!! No. I just had an ExTREMELY rough pregnancy with extreme morning sickness, ivs, and bed rest the whole works!! So I didnt even look at a pattern or sewing machine for almost the entire 9 months. Once I had her and the sickness was gone I brought it all back out almost immediately I was in withdrawls! I am still tired and make a million more mistakes than I normally would (so my stitch ripper is getting a work out) but I couldnt NOT do it anymore! hehehe
