My neighbor said to me, "I don't think you should give it to the dog. It'll make a great summer-weight quilt on your bed."

I said, "Well, I bet he'll share it with me." LOL

This is really a learning project. I have discovered that I love hand quilting. It's so peaceful! I'm quilting tonight while watching X-Factor.

What a cute lucky dog,and to think I just came from the can't hem ,mend, page and not that there is anything wrong with that, I agree. But do not let husbands or anyone who needs mending see this or they will be soooo jealous.

That is about the best thing I have read in a long time! It gave me such a warm feeling. You must really love your doggie. And how lucky is that dog to get such a great quilt! And let me say this- your first quilt is awesome! Keep up the good work.

Lovely quilt - your dog will love ALL of the quilts that you make - or your cat - LOL

I wouldn't give my dog my quilt, but my husband complained when we got the dog that he had to wait 2 years for me to sew his shirts, but the dog got a custom-made bed in 3 days. Lol

They instinctively gravitate toward quilts. I have three furbabies who do that all the time.
