    I would agree with leaving it. I once purchased an "ugly, loud" package of 2 1/2" strips. I found some teddy bear infant fabric with the exact same colors. I cut 3" strips of the infant fabric and sewed it between the strips from the clearance package I had purchased. I asked on the board if I should go ahead and quilt it or tear it apart and do something else. Some members said that the teddy bears with their heads cut off would be scarey for a child and some said it was like an I spy quilt with the little one searching for the heads of the teddy bears

    It is all due to what you think is best. I would do every other row if I left it. IMHO

    I also turn my blocks, especially for kids, so they see the blocks no matter how it lays.
