My Early Early birthday present to myself...

I couldn't sew without an ext. table. I watch others sew without one & wonder if it isn't very awkward working on such a sm. surface with the weight of the project hanging. The big prob. I have with mine though is that it tends to slip around. Could be the table I'm working on though. I've tried putting that non skid shelving stuff under it but that doesn't work.

I have one to for my pfaff, bought it online for only €25,00.( kind of craigslist)
when I went looking for it I saw the normal price was €145,00.
I like the holes you have in it to make circles....great idea!!!!!

My hubby made me one out of plexiglass from Lowe's or Home Depot - I drew a diagram around the part for the cut-out for the machine - fortunately my Pfaff and Brother are really close in size, it ended up fitting both. For a drawer, I just slid a fairly wide plastic "stackable" type drawer under it for seam ripper, small metal ruler, marking pens, etc. I do like that reference to the fully adjustable one (Sew Mates) - it is definitely an idea.

I have a Sew Steady extension table for my Janome. They custom fit it to your model. I never thought about getting one for my serger, great idea!
Since we made a hole in my counter to level my Janome I use the extension table as a smooth topper around the machine. I can still unscrew it from the counter, put the legs back on, and take it to class.
Yes, I really like it!

Good price with the carry bag. I use mine with my Featherweight and I have one that also works with my 301 and 301a.
You can see underneath and tuck scissors, seam rippers, a small pin cushion plus it supports your projects very well. I have had mine for over 2 years.
