I have three different kinds! I keep one near the kitchen, one in the laundry, and one in my bedroom. So good for getting those dropped things and stuff on the top shelves. Also have a couple of magnetic rods that have those telescoping handles. Those come in handy too!

I have two kinds and one in every room (so I don't need to remember where I left it). I used to have 2 in the garage and 2 in the sewing room but hubby "borrowed" them. I have used them to grab glasses and cups off of high shelves as well as taking down twigs that stick out of the gutters.

I use a plastic “spaghetti claw” server to snag things on high shelves.

I have three that are slightly different than the one shown, but they are indispensable. One stays in the laundry room- great for retrieving all those things that seem to think they belong behind the washer. One stays in my bedroom for all those things that think they belong under the bed out of arms reach. One stays in my quilting studio for all those spools of thread, bobbins and bobbin cases that like to jump out of my fingers in order to reach their preferred homes under my sewing tables.

I bought some for my grands to play clean up and have fun doing it. Now that they are older I use them more then they did.

I use one to hang the Christmas lights on the front of the house. No ladder needed to reach the hooks.
