    Happy to hear it was such a simple solution. I can see where the plate over the feed dogs, if not properly placed, could put them out of commission. We all learned something from this discussion.

    Glad she solved the problem too.

    It does make sense that if the plate is wobbling up and down and left and right it's raising the fabric higher than it should be when it's going over the feed dogs.

    Wooohoooo - another problem without paying money!
