    I love it. You are off to a great start. I would, like a few others have said, sew the blocks together as you have them & then lay them on a darker fabric ( brown, black, Gray) to see if you would like an additional solid sashing around the blocks. I think that would really make the blocks pop.

    You're doing great, love the birds. At first I thought you were doing a double sashing, but you could treat them as part of the block, then add maybe a narrower green as sashing between all blocks. It's just a thought - don't mean to confuse, anything you do will be right for you. Trust yourself, to use a phrase from Bob Ross, a painter, there are no mistakes, just happy accidents. Go girl, you're doing great.

    You have a good eye for quilting your colors are a great pic! and the wallhanging is really nice can't wait to see more

    Get used to second guessing yourself I think we all do that. It looks great and really nice for a first time. Your color choices are fabulous
