Don't let your aunt's comments bother you - she just might be jealous! That is a beautiful quilt, and you did a great job on the quilting, IMHO.

What a fantastic first quilt - and a BEAUTIFUL gesture for your son! I hope it tells him just how much you love him. A true work of love. Beautiful color choices, and really nice pointy points on your stars!

I think it turned out beautifully and I'm amazed at how well your hand quilting turned out. I've been trying to learn and it doesn't seem easy at all. I know your son will feel warm and loved by your gift.

the quilt is very nice............you made it for your son and not your aunt..............we all make mistakes that is what we learn from ..............even if it was the ugly quilt of the year your son would appreicate it ...........when you lose every thing you had and someone cares enough to do this for them they will remember it for ever. I have a quilt that two of my aunt made me and it not the prettiest quilt every made and has lot of errors in it but money could not by it ........ will appreicate it for ever because they made it for me lllllllllllllllllllllllllll//////////////'''''''''''''''''''' pgmb

You did great! You put a lot of love in it by quilting it by hand
