    Default My first QUILT SHOW!

Went to my first one yesterday, was truly amazed at the work I seen. Yes, have looked online at all the beautiful quilts that loving hands make on here but I am afraid it does not compare to the joy of stareing at a carefully planned piece of work hanging in front of me. I got up close and personal with the stitching, the block arrangements, the colors. Spoke with some of the quilters, got some fresh ideas and gave some. Visions of quilt blocks dancing in my head now and yes, came home with some new toys and some material that caught my eye. What a wonderful experience and look forward to some more adventures in Quiltdom.

So glad you did that! I love to go to quilt shows! We all need inspiration from time to time. Bet you can't wait to do it again...

There is nothing like seeing quilts up close. I also love seeing all the vendors all in one place. Congratulations on attending a Quilt Show, I bet it won't be your last.

There is nothing like a quilt show. Yes, we can look to our heart content online. But to see them up close and in person is so much more stimulating. They are a must! I am so, so lucky that I have the Sisters Quilt show just a few hours from me, talk about stimulating - OMG!
