I think I would go with one of the prints . for me it would connect all the colors since the black and pink are already in the borders. Try what I am learning to do ..Fold a strip of each of the colors and lay them along side the quilt. step backa nd see which one floats your boat. smile....Great quilt for a first timer.

Beautiful quilt, love you choice of colour. I personally would do Black binding. Or, even maybe one of the greys. If you have left overs of the greys you could joint them and make the binding from that. Just a thought.

Delicious colors, great job. SITD is a good idea for a first quilt. As for thread, I'd suggest you do a sample with different colors of thread on the different fabrics, that way you'd know if you really did or did not like the result before you were committed to the whole thing. For long lines of straight stitching, I found that blue tape on top is a great marker and helps keep the fabric straight too. I use the same tape a couple of times before it doesn't stick too well. Have fun, glad you've joined the gang!

Bravo! It's a beauty! I think I might do the binding in one of the black prints with a tiny pink flange. Check out Charismah's post titled Quick machine binding with flange. It is in the tutorial section and it is easy and very attractive. STD would look very attractive with your pattern.
