    I never would have thought to combine those shades of red and blue, but it looks fabulous! and your seams look flawless. Outstanding job!

    Love that block at both stages! So fresh and so clean.

    In the first stage I'm loving how the organic mottling and dots of the blue and the curvy white paisleys come together in impossibly crisp and graphic shapes. The contrast is so appealing! Add to that, a vision of bright sunshine reflecting off of sugar white sand beaches and deep blue Caribbean waters that are as clear as glass... gorgeous!

    With the perfect outlining of red, the block becomes even more dynamic and vibrant. Seriously eye catching. A lot of thought and discernment went into this.

    I love the flange. I think they add a bit of a punch without making your block larger. Nice star!
