I hope it sews like a gem for you! Every mfg has a lemon in them somewhere [were they all made on Mondays???}
For the price you are not risking anything.....sew on it lots before it goes camping to make her prove she is worthy of your relaxation time. jmho.

I have a very similar machine although the colouring is a little different. I paid just under $30 for it. I am ashamed to say that although I have had it for over a month I have not had a chance to try it out properly, have been very busy also it came without a manual so I will have to give it some time to work out what it does. I bought it to carry to classes and also for my holiday home. I think they are great, I like that you can slow down and speed up the sewing speed so it makes it ideal for when my granddaughter wants to sew. I hope I can call on you if I get stuck did you get a manual with yours.
