I hope your hubby has learned a very valuable lesson...washing machines, dishwashers, tool boxes, etc. are not presents they are everyday necessities. A gift is something that you know the other person wants even if it is fabric...that is a hobby. LOL.

Perhaps your thoughtful husband bought the tool chest to keep some of your quilting supplies in? Mine holds templates, rulers, ripper, extra bobbins and sewing machine parts, etc. Of course he (my soon to be husband) sprayed it a beautiful turquoise before giving it to me....goes great in my sewing room.

And to think, I got my husband a NEW SHOVEL! Then I took him to one of MY favorite restaurants (I love middle eastern food, the lamb is to die for it just melts in you mouth). After all for mothers day, he took me out for chines food (his favorite food and place). LOL We get a kick out of this kind of stuff!

You may get a big surprise when he decides to find out what all the hype about quilting is. Now that he has the things he needs, he may jus tmake one himself. Of course, that could be good, because then you could share the toolbox
