    What a great find! How could hubby not be happy for you? I'm guessing he might be interested in sports or tools and would be delighted to find something special too...you wouldn't be upset, would you?

    Thanks everyone for all the info.
    I have all the sites open right now as I type this. Hopefully I can get around to getting it in some time in the next few weeks (we are a little busy buying a house) and it wont take much to get this thing working. Once that is done I have the task of going through my moms storage shed and finging the removable arm. I called her and she said "its in there some where". If ya don't hear from me ya know I got lost.

    what a wonderful gift you were given, Be for my father past away my mom and dad came over, they gave me moms first wedding set, there are five of us kids but they wanted me to have it because they new I would cherish it, my dad new he was dying so he was doning what he wanted done. sometimes when I miss him I will wear those rings. it was the best gift I could have recived.     I would go to the Janome website and contact them. Tell them what you have and ask if they can give you a reputable place near you for repairs. It's possible that they may, by chance, still have some parts that you need or be able to tell you where you can find them.
