My local Walmart store in Show Low, AZ, is working on remodeling and they have kept the fabric dept and made it a bit wider, for easier access.

Lucky you! My Walmart, Sierra Vista, AZ, is moving into a new Super Walmart and will be reducing the size of the fabric dept.

Lucky you, the Walmart, in Huntingdon, TN has marked their fabric down 25 per cent and will continue mark downs until all sold. Not happy about that.

one of these days walmart is going to figure out who their bread and butter is and they'll be sorry. i used to go in for a zipper and end up with a surger(spelling is bad) i know..but you all know what i mean. now i just don't even bother to go out of my way, it's joannes for me. walmart thinks they know so much about "the big picture" but they don't. i'm from southern california and i think there is one lousy fabric dept left in east county and its just not worth going out of my way.

Lucky you. Our local wal-mart got rid of the fabric department. I was able to get in on the unadvertised sale of all fabric 75% off before they brought in party favors instead.

i was visiting my daughter in washington state and we needed a needle for her sewing machine so she laughed and said lets go to the sewing department. it was two shelves about 2 ft x 2ft. i couldn't believe it. they just don't want my business. five and dime's have a real place whether or not corporate america want to believe it or not. i'll get off of my soap box now, but i really believe it. !!!
