I got the same machine and frame in June and I LOVE it. Cindi is right about practicing writing your name, it helps a lot. Handi-Quilter has great customer service, don't be afraid to phone them if you have any questions, they are very helpful and friendly. Congratulations....I know you will have many hours of quilting fun. Thank you for sharing your good news with us.

Thank you Watson's Mom for the advice and encouragement...means a lot to me. I will practice writing my name first thing. I was told that Handi Quilter customer support was very good so I am happy to hear that you have had the same experience. I appreciate all the advice.

I have the same machine - I know you will love it - I've had the best luck with Angela Walter's books and her Craftsy Free- Motion Quilting class - really helped me and my free motion quilting has improved by leaps and bounds - I just love her teaching style and she really breaks it down into easy motions. Congratulations and have fun.

Thanks Otis, I just reviewed Angela Waters' book: Free Motion Quilting. I previewed it first and liked what I read. Thanks for your input.

Sounds like you pretty much got every deal you could on you new long arm. My friend has that exact machine and loves it. Uses it alot and has had it over 2 years and has had no troubles with it.
