One way to make it work would be to make one block that is different than the other border blocks and the correct size and put it in the middle of the border row. Then they would line up on the ends and it would look like you planned it that way. I hope you understand what I mean.

i would lay the blocks far enough away from the quilt so that they fit properly around the quilt, keeping in mind the seam allowance.
then i would measure the difference (the empty space) between the quilt and the blocks, add the seam allowance and use that measurement as a border measurement. sew the border on the quilt, sew the blocks together and then onto the border and it should all fit together nicely.
good-looking quilt, btw.

You need to add a 'coping' border. The inside of your quilt is 92". Your blocks are 8". 8 into 92 is 11.5. But a half a block wouldn't look right. HOWEVER, if you make 12 blocks, that would equal 96". If you bring the center of the quilt up to 96", the borders would fit. (I'm using all FINISHED sizes here, you may need to adjust for seam allowances.)
So, you need to add four inches to the center of the quilt. Divide that in half, and if you added a 2" finished border to all sides of the quilt, then your 8" blocks would fit nicely!

Am I the only one who thought that the borders don't need to be blocks ALL he way around the quilt?
How about making the blocks around 2 opposite corners but not meeting in the middle of a side. Sort of like this.....
