WOW what a great gift...thanks for making this old man misty eyed....My grandmother was great toto and gone now 31 yrs....she didnt quilt but I have her old cedar chest that holds some of my quilts....your grandmother was so organized

Wonderful story. I know she's still with you in all those pieces of fabric. The jacket is perfect for your little girl. Your mom is very thoughtful too. What a treasure you have in your mother and grandmother.

I'm very touched by your story. I had an amazing Grandmother too. She raised me and is the reason that I quilt today. She made me the woman that I am, but I'm not a tenth the wonderful woman that she was.
I can only hope that one of my 7 gr. daughters will feel the same way about me.
