I'm happy your Mother feels useful and needed by helping you make quilts. It is so important to have a "mission" in life, to feel one has a purpose. So many retired, or older persons find they just have nothing to do and just sit and watch TV. Your Mother is inspiring for me to keep working at what I love doing. I'm sure it gives her joy and pleasure. Please enjoy your Mother. Take her to lunch or a spa for a manicure/pedicure on a special outing! Buy her more batiks....

I want to be just like your mom when I am 80....Merrily quilting along and mailing them out to my daughters and whoever else I may run across! Now that would be the life!

OMG, I love them! I am working on these and when I think I got enough, I am still short. Be my luck I will keep going and then have to many. Someone saw me working on them today during my lunch and wants to know can she be next to receive a quilt made with them. I said, yep if you will help me make them. Of course she turned away! :P :)
