That's exactly what I thought when I saw the picture! As long as it is wide enough to hold the binding, why not?

OMG! what a great idea...tell your hubby to get busy and get this one patented for all quilters to buy...I would buy one...no hubby to make me one..

There must be something wrong with me... I just throw the binding over my shoulder... it never gets tangled and I just keep feeding it onto my quilt. But, I think that's a great idea, anyway!

Very clever idea! I recently used the paper towel roll hanging around my neck for a queen size quilt, and one time it turned sideways, the ribbon was all tangled up around my neck, I cracked up laughing at my own self! Bet it would have made a funny youtube video!

What a great idea. I never thought of folding the binding like a fireman's hose. I am going to try it.

I love the idea. I think that folding will be better than rolling because mine always gets twists in it when unrolling. Patricia
