Gay - you were right - they weren't even! That was problem number 1 that I had to fix, and then problem number 2 was the oversized triangles! Once I got those done, the rest just fell into place!

Janice Thompson - it was actually really easy! I did the squares in 2.5 x 2.5 inches and the braids themselves are 2.5 inches wide, and I cut them to 7.5 inches in length.

If you know how to do a french braid, then this is really a piece of cake!!!!

And if you don't know how to do a french braid, really - it's not hard at all ... just lots of cutting (I do it ALL before I even start to sew) and then lots of "little" sewing, ironing, sewing, ironing ... it does get a bit tedious with all the jumping up and down, so once you're comfortable with the pattern (usually after the 2nd block), I just started strip sewing everything together and then ironing a bunch, and then strip sewing again ... make sure you can do this uninterrupted tho!!!
