    Very cool! I have a similar one that is 24" x 48" that I made and I love it, too! It makes ironing sooooooo much easier and pleasant of a task. Glad you got you a big board, too, now!

    That is very cool. That's better than trying to find the perfect ironing board. I will have to ask my hubby (who builds things for me al the time) if he will make one for me. Thanks for sharing. :)

    Sure wish my nephew was coming for a visit soon or my DSIL has the time to make one for me. I struggle with the reg ironing board and big pieces and seems to take forever to iron backs and large pieces. You are one lucky lady.

    I just made myself one also, I used a layer of insul-bright and a layer of cotton batting then covered with ironing board fabric. I did not let my husband help, he is dangerous with power tools : )
