I'm a Janome Girl too!!!! I started out twenty years ago with a New Home
and loved loved loved that machine....So when I went to get a new machine (which I probably didn't need too, it sewed beautifully!) they weren't New Home anymore, they were Janome.....But, I love my Janome. Good machine for the money. Congrats and Have Fun.....

I had a New Home (oh, still have) then I got the Janome 4000. I love it. It's uptown enough for me. The stitch is almost as nice as my old Singer 401. That thing was purchased in "62 and still makes a beautiful stitch. My favorite feature on the 4000 is the needle down feature.Doesn't take much to satisfy me, huh.

Congrats!! How awesome! May you never run out of thread!!:)) I just had a long conversation w/a friend last night that is mostly a hand sewer but wants to (maybe) invest down the road to do some quick quilts that won't need the personal attention of her hand sewing. I had suggested the 3200 Janome due to the great job it does for so little amount of money. The one you just mentioned I will have to check out for her. So happy for you!! We all know how wonderful it feels to finally sew on machine that doesn't complain back at you!:)Skeat
