I would lik to know the name of that quilt shop and if she has a website. I think some of us would love to do business there with such a wonderful person.

I feel truly blessed yesteray as I had one of those days that so rarely happens.
I decided to call a few sewing machine shops having narrowed my choice to a pfaff. I want to keep my husqvarna designer 1 as I love the embroidery but would like dedicated machine for quilting.
Lots of people seem to love the IDT and having tried it I was smitten.
One of the Pfaff dealers, about 70 miles away said she had quite an old machine with IDT in good condition that I might be interested in and could have for $400 so off I went to check it out...the journey took me well over an hour. When I got there she said she was so glad that I had arrived because one of the ladies from her quilt class had literally come in whist I was travelling down and bought a brand new quilt expression 4, trading in her Select 3.0 that she had bought from them just last year. The Select 3.0 was in perfect condition, and looked brand new
Then she said as I had travelled so far would I like it for $425 and she would give me a quater inch foot, open toe and some threads as it had originally come with them as a free gift....I couldn't believe it.....I jumped at it as it really is a lovely machine but had been out of my budget new.
Then we got chatting and I told her I was in the middle of doing a very quick single quilt to send to Japan via our quilt club this week. She asked me to wait five minutes and disappeared into the back of her shop. When she returned her arms were full with quilts....demonstration quilts...which she gave me to take to my quilt group to be sent to Japan.........What a truly wonderful lady....I cannot believe that one telephone call could give me such a wonderful day.....I am calling my new machine Sandra after her.......and it sews beautifully

Wonderful. Isn't it something, how waiting for something always turns out better than we could imagine? I'm so happy for you.
