    Default My new toy

I wanted to tell you about my wonderful DH. I had to go to FL for a funeral last week, and when we got back my hubby took me out and bought me a Viking Sapphire 785!!! It is soo beautiful! I almost chickened out of getting it as that is a lot of money, but he just told the lady to box it up and now it is MINE!!! He put a hole in my table and made a plexiglass cover to go around the machine, so now I have a wonderful flat surface. My mom says its because he missed me lol. He did make a comment that he doesn't plan on getting me another on for the rest of his life though lol.

I did say that if he keeps buying guns, then they will add up and I can get another one lol

Joyce, I feel the same way. I worry about not writing enough, but I am hoping this will help with my BOMs and then I will be able to post my updates on there. There are some days that I can't do anything. I think today may be one of those as I am trying to potty train my 2 year old and she isn't being very cooperative lol

Congrats! It is so nice when you have such a supportive DH. Mine is a sweetheart as well. I just can't make up my mind on what machine I want.

Congratulations! That was one of the machines I looked at. My DH as well will give me anything I want (although I'm the one working - he's at home).

But I have to careful about what I say. I was talking about machine quilting and one day we went to a fabric store that had a longarm setup. I was telling him about it, pros/cons over domestic. The next thing I knew, he had done internet research and was talking about my getting one. Hold your horses!!! I had to say. Let's see if I can even machine quilt on my domestic first!
