My own Quilty Angel!!!
#1
Wooo Hooo, I got a Firmie in the post today from my very own Quilty Angel. This was such an unexpected Firmie I am totally bowled over and would like to publically thank my Angel.
There was a whole bunch of really lovely fabric inside, plus some corn products, because she was telling us of her family recipe (posted in the Recipe thread) and I happened to mention that whilst we had corn on the cob here, we didn't have corn cream and flour - now I can cook up a batch of this lovely sounding recipe and taste it for myself.
Finally, she also included three of her very own originals which I will treasure. Thank you so much - you have been incredibly generous, my Angel.

Lacelady, I know who your Angel is because I read her page & I'm the one who brought up cornbread & we got in that conversation & she did the recipe. I have to print it for my dau-in-law because she makes those casseroles & they are wonderful - she does a variety of different ones. Enjoy every drop of your cooked recipe & let America know how much you like CORN. The first settler's learned about corn from the Native American Indians and there are depictions of the First Thanksgiving that was celebrated between them.
Get in your kitchen & enjoy! Oh, the fabric & 3 items are swell, also.
