Thank you for the information about "Flat Stanley" I had never heard of that before - and I am a prolific reader - I learned something new and I didn't have to travel across the US to learn about it unlike my package.

I didn't know what a "Flat Stanley" was either, thanks for clarification.

I know it sounds bad, what is happening with your package, but one has to consider the millions of letters, magazines and, yes, packages that arrive on time every day. If you were to keep track, most packages do arrive in good time, or sooner. It will be interesting to see, when you get it, if the zip code is correct. Part of the problem is we depend too much on scanners and computers and not enough on humans. This is not just a USPS/FedEx/SPS problem.

This gives me hope for the letter my son sent me from Michigan 3 months ago which never arrived.

Fortunate that you hadn't moved! Hopefully everything was in tact.

I ordered from a company (Fabric.com) that is only about 25 miles from me in Georgia, and my order went to Oregon. It was not my first time ordering from them so all of my info was pre-populated on the order. I'm sure 99% of the time it's a good thing for the customer to have a tracking number! but that -1% could sure make a company have some explaining to do.

OH my .. Hope you get your package soon ! Flat Stanley -HAHAHHAHAHA OOps almost forgot that Flat Stanley has gone from UT to CO then back to UT via my granddaughters who just adore Flat Stanely so much ... He even stayed with the kids on vacation with us and traveled around while we looked for material, went sight seeing and rock hounding ! He was such a good, quiet guest while he was here with the granddaughters...

Have you ever notice mail that goes across in town takes longer than one from another state? Murphy's Law I think has control here.
