    So I have friends that are getting married on Oct. 9 and I want to make a quilt for them - well I just found out about this wedding about a week ago - I started making a log cabin quilt but the fabric I used wasn't working - so I decided to can that idea and went to the LQS and decided to do a double irish chain quilt. Thursday I picked out fabric and today starting the cutting and piecing - just wanted to see if I can do this before the wedding - so I will post my progress as I go along. Here is todays blocks - I have completed 8 of these and have the fabric and strips sewn for another 8 so tomorrow back at it. Wish me luck... :thumbup:
