I don't fix issues a zillion times - my limit is 2x ripping. If it is still a little off after that, then it wants to be that way. Honestly, I have fretted over mismatched seams that were off by 1/16" to 1/8" and they were staring at me the whole time I was piecing. After the quilt was quilted and washed, I was not able to find the spot. So I let experience guide me.

Bear, I used to be just like you described, but health issues have forced
me to do as well as I can and live with it.
I used to think I'd never see the day, but I have and I'm glad.
With chronic stuff if i push myself towards perfection I may never get things
made for my family and me and dh, and THAT would make me bonkers and sad.
Are you ok with your self policing or do you wish you could un-police a bit?

I try to do the best I can but I seem to always have a mistake of some kind so if I think it will bother me and I can fix it I will but if it is something I can't get to or something I have tried to do several times but have not been successful I just move on. I make quilts for my pleasure; for the act of sewing and they are not show quality.
