That will be hanging in a museum one day. How long did it take you to quilt? How many years have you been doing this? You have a talent that defies description; there simply are not enough superlatives in the language to lavish on you. I am in awe!

I needed about half a year to finish the quilt, 6-8 hours per day. The background quilting was really time consuming - but it turned out great!

Good question! I am completely self-taught in quilting. I learned through books about 20 years ago. As a young girl I did a lot of knitting, crochet, embroidery etc. and I made clothes for my barbie dolls. I have always loved to do tiny little things with my hands, the smaller, the better. So you see doing tiny little stitches with a tiny little needle is the right thing for me!

I am not able to even understand how some one could do such magnificent work. that is way above beautiful. ty for showing it and congrats on the win which the win was inevitable. That is so pretty I would be afraid i would get it dirty. If that is what we're up against I think we're in trouble.
