    Are you using a really tiny stitch when you paper piece. My paper pieces almost fall out (dont have to pull on them) when I use a small stitch. If you use a pin to poke a hole in the middle of your pieces of paper before you use them, you will have something to get a hold of, a starting point if you will to remove them. Does that make sense.
