Today was the first day that I did not have a deadline or anything so I decided to take my newly purchased Moda charm pack "Lumier de Noel" I fell in love with the creams and reds and tans and decided to do a dp4. I love this pattern and it works well with the charm packs. I made sure that the charms where 5" square last night. The started to sew them perfect just perfect lines matching up everything. Then it happened my back started to bug me ok more pills back to no pain. except well lets just say I was feeling very good and my eyesight might have been a little off yeah lets just call it that. After 2 blocks cut I noticed that I obviously cannot tell the difference between 1 1/2" and 1 1/4" well I have decided to make lemonaid and will just make the dang thing work!!!! so I only sewed two and will try again in the morning Dang meds!!!!

Been there, done that... Hint: Put a piece of painter's tape on your ruler where the cutting line will be, then you don't have to read the numbers each time. They make new expensive rulers which you line up, but I can't afford that.
