I ended up having to get all the Christmas stuff out of the attic and getting it up and the boxes back in the attic, so thats what I ended up doing yesterday (a total of 30 trips up and 30 trip down the attic ladder) so tommorrow I am doing NOTHING but getting my sewing set up enough to get my sewing done, so I will post pics as soon as I get it finished, hopefully by tommorrow evening. I already have the plan and I know where my husbands tools are lol

K I finally finished my ironing table this morning, My husband will do the trim work and make it look pretty when he gets home, but at least it's functional. I made the top as removable since we also use this room for family gatherings. the finished padded top size is 19 X 44 and I have a ceramic tile at the end for a place to set the iron.

well I'm getting there, tommorrow I'm building the frame and making my design wall. I converted an old drawer and made a light box today, my husband just needs to cut the plexiglass for me and I need to let the paint dry so I can add the lights.

Ok pretty much everthing is done, just waiting on my table for my embroidery machine, it will be in by Friday (right now it resides on the desk in the sewing room)so here are the pictures

this is at the door coming into the room

my fabric on the first set of shelves, my husbands tools and magazines on the second set of shelves (notice I got 3 he got 2) lol

the cutting table ( we use the room for Bible study 1 night a week)

my ironing dresser and my husbands golf clubs (see I share the space, a little anyway)

all of his tools and magazines and the desk where my computer goes soon

1 of my sewing tables and the second one will go where the empty chair is and my cutting mats & embroidery threads

the design wall my husband made me, He built a frame then stretched some cheap $1.00 fabric over the frame then covered it in batting and finally a flannel sheet, then he hung it on the wall (isn't he awesome)

the next 3 pictures are of the light box I made out of an old drawer from storage and it works great!!
