Holy moley. . . What an undertaking that would be. Beautiful but difficult. It is a challenge but what a sense of accomplishment it would give you, if you did. we would vote you the "best sister of the year" for at least two years. Let us know what you decide. Show us a pix if you make it.

My sister wants this in a quilt http://cdsweb.cern.ch/record/1294059
She doesn't quilt, I do. Am I this nice a sister? I haven't decided yet if I want to tackle something like this. Assuming I decide to take the plunge, anyone have suggestions?

I remember a site on the Internet where you can upload a piciture and the program will turn it into a quilt pattern. I just googled make your p hoto into a quilt and got several results. One is Victoria and Albert Museum. You might try that if you think you want to do it.

How the Hunt for the Higgs Boson Leads Us to the Edge of a New World[/h]That's what DH is getting for Christmas! I think making the quilt would be great fun! I know the final rendition would be "different" than the original, but would you have to get the author's permission to do your version?
