    I've tried everything I could to get my ruler not to slip while I was cutting so I decided to get myself a "Quick Release Clamp". It works like a charm.

    Great idea! I push my ruler up against the wall and that works very well too. No wall, then I will need a clamp like yours too!

    Love the clamp idea!! I have several small ones that will work just fine. Why didn't I think of that?! I have a terrible time keeping the ruler from slipping right at the end!
