    I am in the same situation. I forced myself to finish my stepdaughters quilt (the colors were killing me!!) and am trying to finish the stepgds quilt made from onesies. I have pieces cut, but threw them back into the box. Yuck. Just need to do it to get it out of the house. Just grin and bear it I guess...

    If I truely can't stand it, I find someone that likes to finish things. Or I try to change it into something I do like.

    I am so bad.... I make promises to people for new things so I continue to put my UFO off because I have to get the promised item done.

    Rewarding yourself for completing each step of an unpleasant tasks is a good thing--how about nibbling Dove dark chocolates while reading the Quilting board??? I bet a lot more UFO's would be completed.
