There were several of you on the message board that gave me great suggestions for making this quilt. I am not a quilter but love quilts. When our son was born years ago, a friend that I worked with made one of these quilts as a gift. Our son, Jonathan, latched onto the quilt and carried it until it was just scraps. I wanted to make this as a surprise for their son who is due to be born any time--due date is June 26. I quilted around the little boy and in the ditch for the rest of the block. I downloaded coloring book farm animals and quilted them around the border with the maiden name of our daughter-in-law and son. Thanks for all your great help.
    Love,
    Marie

You made a darling quilt. I politely disagree with your saying that you're not a quilter. I think you are!
