I have the Sparrow 30. At my last guild quilt retreat I think everyone had one! They are very affordable. I bought mine from Amazon with the quilting package included.

Hi Marcia! So glad you got your Sparrow! When I got mine I splurged and got the Quilting Foot Accessory Kit ($36). It has a walking foot, two different 1/4" feet and a free motion metal foot. That being said I have used the standard foot.

If you don't want to order online, locally I know The Quilt Shop at Essenhaus is carrying Eversewn now, you might give them a call to see if they have any. I bought mine at Heartland, so I'm sure they have them too.

I Love my Sparrow, use it every day and it is a happy little workhorse. The only one thing I have an issue with is the quarter inch foot. The quarter inch is very accurate, but on the left side of the foot they have not rounded the edge. That squared design always gets under a seam, I have to stop, lift the pressure foot, tuck the fabric down, then continue. Very annoying. Wonder if there have been other complaints and have they come up with a new foot.

I, too, have the Sparrow 30. I just returned from a retreat where I used her for four solid days. I got mine through Overstock.com, but it actually came from Sew Vac Direct, a vender I've used many times for years! I bought a quarter inch foot from Sew Vac Direct. It is a Brother brand described as 1/4" Piecing Foot with Guide, SA185. It gave me a consistent scant 1/4" and I am very pleased. At the retreat, I used my Sew-Ezi table with an insert for the Sparrow. I'm a very happy camper!

the left side of the foot they have not rounded the edge
You could probably file the corner to round it. Wouldn't take much to do that.

I bought a Sparrow 30 recently (January) to use while my old Bernina is at the spa. I use it daily, and love it. In fact, the Bernina has not left it's case since it came home.
    Two complaints:
Mine has a very high-pitched whine. Annoying!
And, I wish I had bought the QE, because it has the knee lift feature. I miss that.

Mine doesn't have a high pitch noise. I would send it back for another.
