Misery loves company, sounds like she wanted you to be as miserable as she was, I believe there are some people meant to be miserable, mean and self destructive, she was born to be miserable and not strong enough to rise above herself and change.

I work in customer service so I deal with a lot of unhappy people every day. 95% are polite, considerate and more than willing to converse in a nice way. About 3% are just indifferent. Not rude, just not interested. Then there is that last 2% that need that new surgery, and oh how I do want to tell them so, some days. But you know the policy. Just smile and take care of the customer!

That "rude quilter" could not have been a REAL quilter ...

REAL quilters would never say something so rude ...

REAL quilters are warm, friendly, caring, generous, kind and patient people ... who LOVE to talk to others about their craft and their projects ...

This must be one of those people who POSE as a quilter ... but is really just a BIG NASTY NARCISSIST !!! :)

"Real" quilters just don't act like that!

I'm sorry your trip to JoAnns was disappointing. Personally, I just love to talk to other quilters in fabric stores. It is just so interesting to find out what others are doing and their enthusiasm is just contagious.

(check out http://www.thousandsofbolts.com/-----they are my favorite online shopping store, plenty of choices and always prices way cheaper than my LQS---although I pay "my dues" at the LQS as well.......)

I've never talked to a rude quilter. Are you sure this gal was a quilter?

JoAnne's has not had any new fabrics in some time, just the same old prints, wish they would get some new ones.
