I was almost finished quilting, and realized I had pale pink thread in the bobbin, and a white back on the quilt. Fortunately,
--it's a small piece, only 16" x 24". It's a topper for a nightstand
--I bought new seam rippers yesterday!

Unfortunately, the pale pink is for a doll dress I'm sewing, and I don't have much left. I was being so careful not to waste any of my pink thread, and then I did this!!

We've all done that .............. at least once. Hopefully you can salvage some of that pink thread to finish ulp the doll dress.

OK, why would you take it out? Is the pink showing thru to the front? If it's a table topper, you are never going to see the back (unless it's reversable).

My thoughts too! Can't imagine ripping out that quilting for that! I think a contrasting thread looks very nice on the back.

Consider it a personal design decision. Or a learning experiment. [Personally I like the first explanation.]

It could have been a personal design decision, if I had not recently finished the two quilts that go with it. The quilts have a white back, quilted with white thread.

I feel your pain. I've done so much more time consuming, frustrating things. I love this board where I can laugh with others as we all display our human (or creative) sides.
