Maybe you need to learn that two letter word that is really hard for most of us ... "NO". "Drop dead" has a really good ring to it, too. My contracts don't use that exact wording but the sentiment is the same... hmmm... I like it.

You have the patience of a saint! I love the blue and purple fabrics you purchased with the "snake" fabric. I think they would make a beautiful block. Your sister-in-laws color choices are certainly not something I would put together; however, after seeing the quilts you have made, I'm sure whatever you do will be spectacular!

Thanks for the smile, danmar. I agree with the above comments that at some point you have to tell her NO MORE changes!!! At the very least, once you start cutting and putting blocks together, there has to be an end.

It will be fun watching it come together. :)

It just made me dizzy with all the changes. You are a very patient person. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

I got lost in all the changes. Seems like this quilt will be a mega challenge in itself.

I think this will be a challenge too! I'm looking forward to it though. There must be something wrong with me. LOL
I think it will be beautiful when I'm done. I love the colors and the kites. It's just going to take a while with everything else that is going on.

I will post pictures as I go to keep you all updated. I still am not sure when I will get time to start it though.
Thanks for your comments and interest! I appreciate it.

    Happy Quilting!

Oh how I admire your patience with Pauline. I wish I had just some of yours. I would have given up on her way back in the beginning. Family or no family. Good luck Marilyn with your quilting.

Danmar, how is the Pauline quilt going? Any more changes? I can't wait to see the results!

Hi Debbie! Thank you for asking. I was picked as one of the 15 finalists in the McCall's Quilting, Quilt Design Star Contest, so Paulines quilt won't get started until I get my first Challenge round quilt top made. Sometime around Sept.13th.

By the way, Yes, I have heard from Pauline one more time. I need to update this. Thanks for reminding me!!!!
